PieBot

PieBot is a companion app for PieFed that adds AI-powered features to the PieFed experience.

Config

Copy the config.py.sample to config.py and edit the settings. Use the following code in an interactive Python console to generate a random secret key:

>>> import secrets
>>> secrets.token_urlsafe(16)

Run

• uv run piebot
• QUART_APP=piebot:app uv run python -m quart run
• hypercorn piebot:app
• uv run marimo edit --sandbox notebooks/quickstart.py

Database tools:

• uv run tortoise init
• uv run tortoise makemigrations --name add_posts_table
• uv run tortoise migrate

AI usage disclaimer

• Everything is handcrafted by humans. This project leverages data science and machine learning trchniques, but isn't designed or written by generative AI.
